Recipe for:

Hassle-free Tempura


1 pack McCormick Tempura mix 

1/2 cup ice cold water

Pomace Oil

1/4th Kilo of fresh peeled shrimp, fish fillet or any desired protein

Assorted veggies (the sky is the limit!!)

- Kamote tops or spinach 

- Onions

- Bell peppers 

- Sweet potatoes 

- Mushroom

- Tofu

- Carrots

- Eggplant

- Okra 

If you have many different veggies, about 2 pieces each cut in desired chunks, if you have a smaller selection then you can have more pieces of each. 


Open packet and pour out tempura batter, add water and mix.

Put oil in pot and heat for frying.

Start to dip shrimp into batter then once oil is hot, place in shrimp, one at a time with about only 3 or 4 shrimp in at one time. Remove immediately, about 1.5 minutes. 

Then repeat the same for veggies.


For dip: 

Open dip packet and add some water, and add some fresh grated ginger!
